Hey there! I’m a Communications and Public Relations pro with a knack for turning crises into opportunities—kind of like a superhero, but with fewer capes and more social media posts. I’ve studied in Mexico, New York, and Germany, and I’ve lived in vibrant places like Mexico City, Los Angeles, New York, and Frankfurt.
When I'm not juggling PR strategies, you can find me globetrotting or getting lost in a good book. I thrive on adrenaline and have dabbled in everything from paragliding to snowboarding (I’m basically a thrill-seeking octopus!). As a proud mom of two amazing kids, I love mentoring and empowering others, all while waving my feminist flag high. Why have you decided to join Klar in the first place?
I knew I wanted to join Klar the moment I wrapped up my interview with Stefan Möller, our brilliant CEO and Founder. It was like a light bulb went off—this company, filled with incredibly smart and talented folks, has a clear vision that fired me up! I remember thinking, “This is the kind of story I want to shape and tell.” Moving to Klar felt like a giant leap in my career; I’ve worked with big names like TV Azteca, AT&T, ExxonMobil, and DiDi, but Klar was different. Here, I had the chance to not only influence the company’s communication and its public image but to create an entire department from scratch. Talk about a thrilling opportunity!
What is the most exciting part of your role at Klar?
The most thrilling part of my role at Klar is definitely the opportunity to connect with all the different areas of the company. I get to shape their stories and present them to the media, which means I’m like a translator for innovation! It’s incredibly rewarding to represent such diverse talents and perspectives. Plus, I’m constantly learning from the brilliant minds around me. Having a front-row seat in a company that’s reshaping the future of technology and financial services in Mexico? Now that’s a rare and fulfilling pleasure! It’s like being part of a really cool story that’s just beginning to unfold.
And what’s been the best part of working from Klar’s Mexico office?
The best part of working at Klar? Without a doubt, it’s the people! I don’t know how the Talent Acquisition team pulled it off, but from the youngest to the most seasoned members, everyone around the globe is an out-of-the-box thinker—accountable, brilliant, and just genuinely great individuals. I felt at home from my very first day! The team is incredibly supportive, and it really feels like a well-oiled, top-of-the-line machine—while still being a lot of fun! Plus, we have fantastic benefits that promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle, which is crucial for me as a mom of two. I love being a female professional, but I also cherish having the time to see my family grow and be an active part of their lives. Honestly, I just love it here!
What motivates your daily work at Klar?
What motivates my daily work at Klar? Well, motivation is different for everyone, but I’m particularly inspired by our growth programs for young professionals. I truly believe they help build careers and foster personal development. For me, it’s the culture of inclusion—everyone’s voice is heard, and we’re all encouraged to express ourselves and innovate. I think every team member and their contributions are vital, and that commitment really shines through in our results. I also believe deeply in the work we’re doing here to democratize technology by offering innovative products that provide users with accessible, transparent, and user-friendly digital banking solutions. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of a place where collaboration and creativity lead to meaningful change!
Can you tell us about your career journey at Klar?
I’m currently writing this during my first trimester at Klar, so I’m still fairly new to the ride! I joined as the PR Director, and it has been an unexpectedly fantastic journey—kind of like shooting for the stars! I’ve learned a lot about the industry and, even more importantly, about the extraordinary people here. It’s never boring; we’re always innovating and filled with exciting projects and stories. Klar is a place where you can create, try, fail, learn, and improve, all while being supported by amazing colleagues. What’s been your most exciting project at Klar, and why?
My most exciting project at Klar has definitely been building an area from scratch. Typically, when we join a company—especially in communications—we find ourselves in a box with limited room to stretch our creativity. But here, it’s a whole different ball game! I get to implement what’s worked best in my career and toss aside what hasn’t. It feels a bit like I’m creating my own personal Frankenstein! We’ve just crafted a narrative that I truly believe is going to change the way the media talks about our industry, and that’s a rare privilege, even for seasoned communications professionals.
